Campus Visit of MTA Karanganyar Islamic Boarding School to UMLA Held Successfully

Lamongan, April 28, 2026 — Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan (UMLA) welcomed a campus visit from MTA Karanganyar Islamic Boarding School on Tuesday (04/28/2026). The event, held from 08:00 to 10:00 WIB, was attended by 199 senior high school students along with 14 accompanying staff members.

The activity was also attended by the Vice Rector II, H.M. Bakri Priyodwi Atmaji, and the Vice Rector III, H. Alifin, along with the faculty deans of UMLA. Their presence demonstrated strong institutional support for campus promotion and academic outreach initiatives.

The event was enlivened by an exhibition showcasing the flagship programs of various study programs at UMLA. Each program presented its strengths, facilities, and potential career opportunities, providing participants with a clear overview of academic life at the university.

Participants showed great enthusiasm throughout the event. The students actively visited exhibition booths, engaged in discussions, and explored information about their preferred study programs. The atmosphere was vibrant, interactive, and highly engaging.

This activity also served as a strategic promotional effort led by the Head of LESIKOM, Sulistiyowati. Through this initiative, UMLA aims to expand its recognition among the wider community, especially prospective students, and position itself as a top choice for higher education.

It is hoped that through events like this, Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan will continue to grow and advance as a competitive and excellent higher education institution.
